One year after Halloween I saved our jack-o-lantern seeds. After drying them out and then keeping in the fridge over the winter, I planted them the next spring and was absolutely astonished that they grew. What a delight! The next year I did something crazy and constructed arches in the garden and planted the seeds I’d saved from those cute Trader Joe’s pumpkins. They grew over the arch and made the most incredible pumpkin tunnel! I couldn’t believe it worked! After harvesting over 90 mini pumpkins last year I fully forgot to save any of the seeds lol. But I did save some from the blue pumpkin and that’s what we have pictured here in this painting. It’s chaos over here, obviously.
